Porto has a new concept/event, Além Jazz!
We believe that music, as an artistic expression, when provided in an exceptional venue, is the best way to unite, bring people together, and create unforgettable memories in people.
This event promises to bring a wide variety of talented musicians, as well as a vast audience of music lovers mixed with jazz influences.
On July 19th and 20th, the Parque da Pasteleira will host the concert of some of the biggest national and international names. In addition to the concerts in the park, a cycle of summer evenings with DJs and live acts in iconic locations in Porto is being prepared.
Além Jazz intends to mark the community’s return to Porto after the vacations, to be a meeting point for tourists who visit the city and who, in common, have the taste for jazz-influenced music, for sustainable and inclusive interactions. We want Além Jazz to also be an inclusive, transversal, unifying and democratic event, with an eclectic program and shows of different musical genres witha special focus on Jazz.
We want the atmosphere of the Parque da Pasteleira, the lawn, the trees and the small lake to be part of the lineup, for this will be given special attention with lighting and decoration. Além Jazz will have a slow food area with chefs and Real Companhia Velha wine, always striving for the public’s comfort.
